Ozirtse Lake (Wild Lake)

Wild Lake, which is also called Ozirtse, is another fascinating lake in our park. Here, you can see how the lake, without human intervention, turns into a high bog. It is interesting that bog formation occurs not only from the periphery but also from the center, where such islands are located - floating bogs. The depth of the lake reaches ten meters.

There is a trail around the lake which allows you to walk all round the lake. And for even better observation of this place, an observation deck overlooking the lake was created. The interesting natural object can be reached by using a country road from the central office of the Synevyr National Nature Park (Ostriky tract), or a marked trail from the Museum of Forest and Rafting in the Chorna River tract.

Two huts have been built near the Wild Lake, which serve as a shelter for tourists in case of rain, and a possible place to spend the night in the absence of tents.
